Finishing an English course in a new country is a real achievement, and at Express English College we like to celebrate it properly. When students complete their course, we hold a graduation in the school: caps and gowns on, certificates in hand, and plenty of photos with classmates and teachers.
Many of our students arrive in Manchester unsure about speaking English in shops, on the phone or in class. A few weeks later they are giving presentations, making friends from other countries and planning their next step, whether that is university, a new job or another course. Graduation is the moment to look back at that progress together.
Graduation day is also a goodbye, and it is often an emotional one. Friendships made at EEC last long after the course, and many of our students keep in touch for years.
