Lessons are only part of the experience at Express English College. After class, our social programme helps students explore Manchester, make friends and keep speaking English in a relaxed way.
Manchester is home to two of the most famous football clubs in the world, and our students love it. We play football together, and stadium visits are always popular, from the Etihad Stadium to the famous pitch at Old Trafford.
Bowling, games and group dinners are a fun way to practise everyday English. At the school, students also meet for table football, card games and table tennis between lessons.
Manchester has excellent museums and galleries, and many of them are free. Visits are a good way to learn new vocabulary and understand the city’s history as the home of the Industrial Revolution.
Activities change every week. Follow us on Instagram to see what our students are doing now.
