Choose your programme

All three programmes share the same English course, residence, excursions and level of care. Only the afternoon sessions change.

⚽ Football

English plus football in the home of United and City.

  • 10 hours of football coaching a week with qualified, DBS-checked coaches

🌍 General English & Mixed Activities

English plus a different activity every afternoon.

  • Ideal for students who want a bit of everything
  • Lots of speaking practice outside the classroom

Age12–17 years old, in two groups: 12–13 and 14–17
Start datesMonday 12, 19 or 26 July 2027 (check-in on the Sunday before)
Length2, 3 or 4 weeks. All programmes finish by Friday 6 August 2027 (check-out Saturday 7 August)
English course20 lessons (15 hours) a week, Monday to Friday mornings, maximum 12 students per class
Afternoons10 hours a week of football coaching, tennis coaching or mixed activities, plus daily afternoon activities and visits
WeekendsOne full-day excursion every Saturday (for example Liverpool or Blackpool). Sunday is a supervised rest day
Minimum levelBeginner (A1). A placement test is sent before arrival
AccommodationSupervised hall of residence in Manchester: single en-suite room, full board

Care and safety

Junior students are supervised at all times.

1:5 staff ratioOn every activity and excursion, with regular headcounts.
DBS-checked staffTeachers, activity leaders, coaches and drivers.
24/7 safeguarding leadA trained residential lead lives on site.
Secure residenceKeycard access, CCTV in shared areas and a no-visitors policy.
First aid and risk assessmentsFirst-aid trained leaders and a written risk assessment for every venue.

How to book

Parents can book online. Agents and group leaders can send a booking request.

Apply onlineA parent or guardian completes the application form and chooses the programme and dates.
Secure the placePay a 25% deposit to secure the place; the balance is due 60 days before the start date. You receive a confirmation email.
Before you travelWe send a visa support letter if needed, the placement test and a welcome pack.
ArrivalWe meet students at the airport and take them to the residence.
